Six Years, 9 Months, and 26 Days

Six years, 9 months, and 26 days.  That’s how long our family of six has lived here at CSC…that’s a long time.  It’s a long time to wait and pray and hope for a new family…not knowing if it ever really would happen.  Over the years, they have watched around 115 of their housemates and friends leave for adoption.  Many times along the way the kids nearly gave up hope of being adopted together.  Many times the staff nearly gave up hope of it as well. But tomorrow, after six years, 9 months, and 27 days at our shelter, it is finally our six’s turn to leave with their new family!  After years of hoping and praying, they finally have their new mom and dad!  Praise the Lord!

Tomorrow is a great day for our six, for CSC, and for their new family, but tomorrow will also be a hard day because tomorrow we all have to say goodbye!  They are loved and will be greatly missed!

Here are some pictures of our six from the past few years.  They are the only family group left that have been at CSC longer than I have.  See how much they have grown and changed over the years!
